Membrane resting potential is -70 mV ( millivolts ) . Threshold value is -50 mV . Threshold value is the lowest level of stimulus that will trigger an action potential ( nerve impulse ) . During hyperpolarisation , the inside membrane of axon becomes more negative which is below -70 mV to about -80 mV . When after-hyperpolarisation or undershoot , the resting potential value ( -70 mV) of membrane axon is re-establish .

3. Eat enough fruit , fresh vegetables & soluble fibres .

4 . Taken less salt food products .
5 . Have sufficient vitamin B6 ,B12 and folic acid to help to prevent an elevated
level of homocysteinein the blood & decrease the risk of myocardial infarction .
6 . Exercise regularly.
7 . Maintaining a healthy weight
